He graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1998, and began his residency at the Cleveland Clinic, studying with leading national authorities in endocrinology, rheumatology, and vascular medicine. In 1999, he began a podiatric surgical residency program in Johnson City, NY, where he trained in diabetic limb salvage and advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgical techniques.
Dr. McVay is married with 3 children. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, hunting, camping, coaching baseball, and spending time with his family.
