Foot and Ankle Surgery
Our Surgical Philosophy
Surgery should almost always be a last resort for foot pain. At McVay Foot & Ankle, we believe treatment for most foot and ankle conditions should begin with focused, conservative care. Often, a combination of rest, medications, custom orthotics, or other non-invasive approaches can bring the necessary healing and restoration.
However, when conservative treatments are not indicated or aren’t sufficient, you need a skilled surgeon who can identify the problem and correct it, quickly and completely. Dr. Jeremy McVay and Dr. Candice Cooper are certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and have extensive experience in advanced techniques, including total ankle replacement and ankle stabilization, diabetic limb salvage, and minimally-invasive arthroscopic and endoscopic procedures. We tailor a surgical approach to your needs and execute it skillfully, helping you heal faster and with fewer risks of complication.
Take comfort in the fact that Dr. McVay and Dr. Cooper are experienced, knowledgeable, and have performed thousands of successful surgeries. We will do the same for you.
That said, we will never push you toward a surgery you don’t need. We offer the same treatments and suggestions we would make to members of our own families. Our only concern, and our only goal, is to work alongside you to select and pursue the best possible treatment course for your condition and lifestyle.
